Ubyweb and Trevlix have publicly made a similar commitment. Ubytovačka.cz currently only explains eTurista on its site, without a concrete integration promise - as of this page's last update date above.
Frequently asked questions
When does eTurista take effect?
It's not certain yet. The bill that introduces eTurista hasn't been finally approved by the Chamber of Deputies. As soon as that changes, you'll hear it here first.
What changes compared to UbyPort?
Under the current draft, eTurista would unify reporting to the foreign police, tax office, and municipality into one system, and shorten the deadline for reporting foreign guests to 24 hours.
Do I need to do anything differently right now?
No. Until eTurista becomes law, your existing obligations stay unchanged - UbyPort reporting, the house and registration book, and the accommodation tax.
Will Best Guest be ready for eTurista?
Yes - we track the legislative process and will build the integration as soon as the technical reporting format is published. Migration from UbyPort and other guest books will be free.
